The Sea, The Sea...

Just peeping in to wave "Hello".

I'm just back from a little holiday, and I wonder if any of you can guess where I went?  It's been the most lovely time, despite the ever changing weather (blustery gale force winds and lashing rain storms one minute, paddling in the sea under a blazing sun and huge blue sky the next).  I'll be sharing more about my trip with you in the next few days, along with some sketches I did out and about that I think you might like.  Plus, I'm also in love with a New Blanket I'll tell you more about that too!  Thanks to all of you for your kind comments about the crocheted phone pocket on the last post, it was really nice to read them all.

Off to tackle a huuu-mon-gus ironing pile and yet more laundry...where on earth does it all come from?? How can just three people get through so many clothes in just seven days??!!

Back soon,
Much love Julia x

  1. Hmmm I wonder where you went!! Welcome back to blogland. x

  2. Welcome back, Julia! It sounds as if you had a refreshing break - I think the sea is always a wonderful place to visit, whatever the weather. Hope you soon get the washing done (as you say - where on earth does it all come from after a few days away??) and look forward to seeing your pix.

  3. Thanks for popping by with your lovely photo of the sea! I thought I could see a car riding the waves but on closer inspection I see it wasn't! Looking forward to hearig all about it.xx

is it a quiz? if so guessing Devon.
look forward to reading all about your trip...fee x

  6. Isn't unpacking and doing the laundry the worst of going away! Still at least all the memories of the trip are yours to dream about as you do it. I am looking forward to hearing all about it.

  7. Where ever it was it looks beautiful, makes you just want to squidge your toes into the wet sand!
By the way I gave up ironing years ago...............I'm an expert folder instead. so much more time for crafty loveliness, give it a try it's very liberating!

  8. Oooooh lovely pic julia. I am envious! I need me a bit of sea!!!!!!

I am with you on the laundry. We all just go away for a weekend and the washing takes over a week to do! It's amazing!

Have a lovely day my friend
